Hello all! :)
It's been awhile since I posted anything.. Not much to add as far as prop building goes.. Halloween was fun and I got into the Christmas spirit in my own Halloween fashion, but I didn't get around to taking very many pictures! Next December will be a very special time for me because I will be getting married! Both my Fiancee and I choose to go with an Alice in Wonderland theme wedding. The depth of the theme will mainly be based off how many props I can make from now to then! Alice has been a favorite movie of my future wife (and one of mine too) since I met her and one of my earlier projects was her Alice in Wonderland themed box, so between a Halloween, Pirate or Alice wedding we choose the latter! I'm sure my family will be super happy with all the colors in lieu of the skulls, coffins, pirates, etc! :) I'm looking forward to making some props because the theme lends itself to some pretty neat stuff! The first thing I'm making is the Cheshire cat! I believe he is going to go near the guest book. I made him in seperate pieces out of plywood and painted him! I'm working on hooking up a motor so the tail wags and he removes his ear/hair piece just like the movie.
Our living room is still pretty bare since we moved into our own place, so a lot of the props are going to try to be dual purpose and we are going to use them to decorate our soon to be Alice themed living room!
Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!
Looks good :-)
